I am writing this hoping that someone will give NLP a go and wipe away any thoughts that nothing will work for them.
I spent over a year during lockdown online improving my self-awareness and desperately wanted to move away from the place where I had felt stuck for over 25 years. I really felt that I knew what was wrong and what I needed to do - but I just couldn’t do it, however hard I tried. My low self-esteem and negative thoughts were not shifting. It felt like I was going through life dragging along a ton weight, exhausted and ended up hating myself even more.
Rex persuaded me to give NLP a go even just for a taster session. I was very skeptical having tried other interventions and held fear the therapy may reinforce my self-hatred and bring to the surface past uncomfortable feelings. However, after the first session I could see how this really could help me, it was that quick. I revisited some unhappy memories that I had clung onto and Rex helped me remove these from the ton weight I was carrying. I repeated these and each time felt so much lighter.
This new sense of freedom gave me space to consider my future and move forwards to who I wanted to be. I realized anything was achievable – even things I thought I could never and would never change. With this new power I was able to kick the unhealthy habits which had made me so unwell. I noticed the self-chatter I had been repeating to myself were quickly replaced with positive thoughts – at last! I absolutely know I could not have done this alone and the support Rex has given me has been invaluable. I would highly recommend it to everyone. You are all worthy. Make that change, it is never too late.
